Hello! My name is Dalal, I am 21 years old girl from Kuwait. I have one younger brother and I study English Literature and political Science in Kuwait University, it is my fourth year and I love every minute of it. I have many interests and love many things, but my main interest is heavy metal music, I love listening to it and reading about the development of metal music over the years and its history, I listen to and love many bands but my favourite band is Metallica, even though I am not all that into movies but I can say that the Nightmare before Christmas , Sleepy Hollow and Pirates of the Caribbean's are my favourite movies, I am also interested in sports, I love to watch soccer, I support Ac Milan and love the Italian league. What I also should mention about myself here is that I am an animal lover, I really love animals and I love taking care of them.
What I am hoping to learn or get out with from this pen pal exchange experience, is seeing and understanding how the American kids view our culture especially after the events of September 11, 2001 and hoping to represent my country and my culture positively, I also would like to show and let the American youth knows and be aware of that the Kuwaiti and American people have many things in common, even though we speak two different languages and our cultures are different but we still have many things in common and share many things with the American people.
